Into the woods 林中慢游

We went to the woods, searching for Time...

The Dragonfly told us she had spent more than a year moulting underwater as a nymph; couple of days to surface; an hour to stretch and strengthen her wings for her first flight... finally, it was only a matter of seconds to dart over water (planting eggs) to keep her next generation in check.

我们到树林里去寻找时间……

蜻蜓和我们说她幼虫时在水里生活与蜕皮了将近1年多，上岸后必需在一小时内将翅膀伸展及硬化才可以正式飞翔。“蜻蜓点水”其实并没有我们想象的那样草草了事，因为她在点水时产卵——短短几秒钟竟然就把下一代安顿好了。

It takes a caterpillar no more than 2 weeks to transform into a butterfly. But today, The Butterfly is worried sick that The Caterpillar may not even survive a day on the tourist track :(

毛毛虫在一到两周内便能蜕变成蝶但今天，令蝴蝶非常担心的是：毛毛虫如果继续在人行道爬行，它恐怕连一天的时间也没有，随时都可能被人无情践踏 :(

The Cicada Ensemble kept us company as we sat by the waterfall, watching rays from the sun disappear amongst the leaves...... Cicadas spent 3-17 years molting underground and after metamorphosis, they spend the rest of their time up in the trees doing the wild thing. Swing my swing high~

我们在瀑布边望着太阳慢慢消失在绿叶中…… 处处可闻蝉的鸣响。蝉的幼虫们在地底下生活与蜕皮3-17年的时间，蜕变成蝉后便一直在树上高调的谈情说爱。慢慢·快活

Late at night along the stream, stars and fireflies started revealing themselves in the thick velvet darkness. Surreal indeed! Fireflies take a month to hatch from eggs to become gloworms and turn into sparks of the night...... Despite having just that few days to live, they shine their fullest.

夜晚小溪边，当天上的星星和遍地的萤火虫出现在眼前时，感觉太玄妙了！萤火虫们在一个月内从卵到幼虫到夜里发光的一颗颗星…… 此时，他们只剩几天的时间，每晚也只有两到三小时的光芒，但他们依然绽放着。

We spent more than 30 years growing up, constantly changing with our surroundings with countless uncertainties ahead...... but tonight concluded with one clarity, we found Time.

我们花了30多年成长，随着环境不停地在变，未来虽然存在着无数的不确定…… 但今夜，我们很清楚自己拥有了时间。
